Our old hob & hood that served us for over 10 years started giving problems – the hood motors jammed and the hob burners got slightly bent and I suppose that caused the heat to be uneven.
We got quotations from the distributor for repair and replacement and decided for that (quoted) cost it would be better to buy a new set
We surveyed around and decided on the ELBA set. For the price we paid (Less than RM900) it was a good deal.

The suction power is not as powerful as our previous hood but it gets its job done, it comes with twin motors running at 1430rpm and has a rated suction power of 885m3/hr.
The hob is pretty good – powerful flames as advertised on the website. Comes with 2 x 4.8kW burners and 1 x 1.75kW burner. We like the design and its easy to clean.
Bear in mind if you’re replacing an old hob & hood, you have to get the correct dimensions. Otherwise it may not fit in your (tile) table top cut out and cabinet. So measure and compare.
